Community Development

CRCC’s Community Planning and Development Team offers support and advice to groups wishing to produce a community plan and/or deliver local projects.

Community Planning is the tool which communities can use to determine what its priorities are and to create a vision for the future, identifying issues and ways of addressing these, either by directly working up projects, or by liaising with statutory and other organisations to raise awareness, influence their own strategies and obtain their support.

Community Development support is offered to help Community Building management committees, community groups seeking funding, social enterprises and the provision of local services. Further detail on the specific support offered is found on the specific pages of this site.
