A partnership event delivered by Cornwall Rural Community Council and East Cornwall CVS offers a day of support and advice to those interested in keeping their community halls vibrant and sustainable during these financially difficult times.

The event is taking place at Blisland Village Hall on 22nd July from 9.30am until 3.30pm.

Representatives from a number of local organisations will be on hand to provide advice on funding, reducing running costs, the value of networking and energy microgeneration. The Big Lottery will also be present with details of its new Awards for All programme. Perhaps most importantly, the day will be a great opportunity for members of community hall committees to share their experiences and to chat to other hall committees about common issues.

All attendees will receive a free copy of two recently published resource packs: the CRCC’s ‘Community Buildings Resource Pack’ and the Cornwall Infrastructure Partnership’s ‘Survive the Recession’ pack.
